MEET KIMBERLY ODOM, COA
Kimberly’s passion is teaching; especially in aseptic technique and surgical assisting.
Kimberly began her ophthalmic career in 2007, obtaining the IJCAHPO COA certification in 2011, and she is currently pursuing the COT credential; having already passed the written portion of that exam.
During her career, she has worked in multiple ophthalmic environments including comprehensive ophthalmology, refractive surgery, anterior segment, retina, cornea, oculoplastics, and pediatrics. She has served as a lead technician in several practices and has facilitated training for numerous technician teams.
Kimberly has a passion for refractive surgery and sterile processes. She is currently working with a top refractive surgeon in Boise, Idaho. They are focused on following the cutting edge of medical advancements in refractive surgery while emphasizing patient safety. She finds great satisfaction in assisting in the procedure room and ensuring proper processes are adhered to in an effort to provide optimal patient outcomes.
Kimberly loves to share her expertise of refractive surgery with others. She is committed to helping optimize and refine refractive surgical operations.
